Crystal Meth, Marijuana, Fentanyl and Heroin Seized in Major Drug Bust in SLRC

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, SONORA, MX – Federal authorities report the seizure of a shipment of crystal meth, marijuana, fentanyl, and heroin.

According to information by the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), members of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), in partnership with the Coordination of Investigation Methods, carried out the diligence.

Authorities seized 681 packages of the drug crystal with a weight of 562.461 kilos. Also, four packs of fentanyl tablets with a weight of 18.66 kilos.

In addition seven packages of fentanyl powder weighing 9 kilos 460 grams as well as a kilo 585 grams of heroin.

They also secured, 34 packages of marijuana with a weight of 233 kilos with 3 grams, and a pick up car.

Experts in chemistry and forensic ballistics participated in the search along with elements of the delegation from Sonora.

The substances seized, as well as the property, were made available to the FGR.
