Men Arrested For Looting Parked Car

Local police officers patrolling the Nuevo Nogales residential, arrested last Saturday a man who was participating, among others, in an auto parts robbery.

The case occurred in Nueva Turquia Street, 16B, when officers commissioned to the Department of Stolen Vehicles observed subjects removing parts from a Nissan Xterra, 2004 parked in the street.

The auto parts they removed were loaded on a pick up Ford 1994.

Upon seeing the police, the subjects fled towards a house.

One of the suspects was arrested in a car were the burglars loaded the auto parts.

Police officers were informed that the car that the suspects looted has an active stolen report in Magdalena de Kino.

The detainee, identified as Juan N, 37, was arrested and transferred to the State Attorney Office.

Security Guard Subdued

A woman who works as a security guard in a supermarket was subdued by a person that covered her head with a bag.

The case occurred at 3:10 am on Saturday, when local police officers were asked to go to the Ley Express store, located between Avenida Tecnológico and Prolongación Boulevard El Greco.

The officers located Ariana N, 32, who identified herself as a security guard.

She told the officers that moments before, she was surprised by a person that placed a bag on her head and told her not to move and snatched her cell phone.

The victim told that after a few moments that she did not hear any noise, she removed the bag and went to the entrance of the store requesting help. She did not now if some merchandise was stolen.
