Covid-19 Asymptomatic Patient Found in Nogales

Under strict security measures and applying all health protection protocols, local police, and health and emergency authorities, assisted and transferred a patient with symptoms of Covid-19 to a local hospital.

On Sunday, in a coordinated effort, various health agencies in conjunction with Civil Protection assisted the patient and transferred him to a local hospital.

He was found next to a self-service store at Maclovio Herrera Street. The store was immediately sanitized, and the employees quarantined to their homes for their safety.

Also, health and civil protection workers scouted nearby neighborhoods, providing help, and detecting people with probable symptoms of the virus.


Driver Crashes With Electricity Pole

Due to a health problem, the driver of a vehicle lost control and crashed into a concrete pole of the electric energy services.

The driver, identified as Raul, 37, was transferred to the General Hospital, where he was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when police officers were asked to go to Bulevard 2000, behind the Belden facility.

At the scene they located the driver of a Dodge, 1984, who was on the sidewalk and had just collided with a concrete post.

The driver explained to police officers that he lost control of the car because he began to feel bad due to a pre-existing health problem.

Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross assisted the driver and admitted him to a hospital. Police officers submitted a tow order to move the car to the impound lot.
