Covid19-Update Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – On Saturday the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services (ADHS) confirmed 431 new infections and 24 new deaths.

The cumulative deaths amount to 799, while the infections to 16,039.

To date, the number of tests applied in the state of Arizona is 253,789, according to the database from ADHS.

Maricopa County has 8,177 people registered with Covid. A total of 2,002 Covid infections have accumulated in Pima County and in Santa Cruz there are 143 and in 58 in Cochise.

78% of deaths have occurred in people 65 years of age or older and 55% of the virus’s fatalities are male.
