Covid19 Update – Arizona
TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – On Thursday, the Arizona health authorities reported 238 new Covid-19 infections and 24 new deaths.
Infections increased to 9945 and death toll to 450, according to the Thursday report by the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services.
Within this week, the percentage of people who tested positive for the virus has decreased compared to the total number of tests.
A few days ago, the percentage of positive tests was 9%, but this Thursday it is 7.6%.
The infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 138.3 and the mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 6.26.
Santa Cruz County documents 38 infected patients; Cochise 40; Yuma 148; Pima thousand 465 and Maricopa 5,196.
To date, Maricopa County has accumulated more than 200 deaths, with a total of 204. Pima has accumulated 118 and Yuma 3. The other cases of deaths are in the remaining seven Arizona counties.
