Covid-19 Update Arizona – 79 Deaths Today
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – After a brief decline in Covid-19 related deaths, this Wednesday, Arizona documents 79 deaths in a single day.
According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, the volume of deaths accumulated during the current pandemic is at 1,463.
The accumulated number of people infected with Covid-19 reached 59,974.
Of the 1,463 deaths, 1,096 occurred in people 65 years of age or older; 194 happened in people aged 55 to 64; 91 in the age range of 45 to 54 and 74 between 20 and 44 years. In less than 20 years, six people have perished.
In Santa Cruz county 14 people have died; in Pima 255; in Cochise 6; in Yuma 68 and in Maricopa 690.
In Santa Cruz county the number of people infected reached 1,538; in Pima 6,318; in Cochise 441; in Yuma 4,915 and in Maricopa 34,992.
