Covid-19 Update Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US.- Arizona wakes up this tuesday with 131 deaths from Covid-19, as well as 3,806 infected people.
61% of deaths have occurred in men, while 39% in women; from the 131 deaths 91 have occurred in people with an age of 65 years or older.
According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, deaths have already occurred in two of the four Arizona’s counties with Sonora.
In Yuma County, whose most important border is San Luis, three deaths have been documented. In Pima County, which shares a border with Mexico in small towns such as Sonoyta and Sásabe, there are 32 deaths.
In the Santa Cruz and Cochise counties, borders with mexican cities like Nogales and Agua Prieta, respectively, no deaths have occurred.
Of the 3,806 infections by Covid-19, 2,656 have occurred in Maricopa County and 685 in Pima. The rest in the other thirteen counties.
There are ten confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Santa Cruz County and 15 in Cochise.
In Arizona 44,096 tests have been applied, the most of them in private laboratories. In an 8% of the cases had found Coronavirus.
