Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – Today the Arizona Department of Health Services reports 1,351 new infected people and 36 new deaths related to Covid-19.

The cumulative of contagions in the state is close to 200,000 with 190,794 cases, in addition to a total of 4,383 fatalities.

To date, 1,303,570 detection tests have been applied for Covid-19, of which 18,784 were documented on the last day.

In Arizona, the rate of cases per 100,000 inhabitants is 2,654, while the mortality rate reached 60.97 and the percentage of positive tests reached 12.2.

The county with the highest Covid-19 death toll is Maricopa with 2,517 and the lowest is Greenlee with 3.

Yuma has documented 291 deaths; 511 in Pima; 55 in Santa Cruz and 57 in Cochise.
