Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – This Tuesday the Arizona Department of Health Services confirms a total of 1,213 new people infected with Covid-19, as well as 45 new deaths.

With these new cases, the cumulative of deaths in the state is 4,199, while the number of infections reached 188,737.

To date, a total of 1,276,952 Covid-19 detection tests have been applied in the state of Arizona, of which 12.4% have been positive.

In the County of Santa Cruz, 2,669 infections and 53 deaths are documented; in Yuma 285 deaths and 11,633 cases; Maricopa documents 126,791 cases and 2,382 cases.

Pima documents 501 deaths and 18,381 cases, while Cochise has a record of 1,730 people who have tested positive for the virus and 54 deaths. The rest of the cases are distributed in the other counties of the state of Arizona.
