Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – A total of 87 new deaths and 1,698 new cases of Covid-19 were announced Wednesday by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
With these cases, the volume of Coronavirus-related fatalities amounted to 3,932, while the accumulated number of infections reached 182,320.
In the daily update, it is indicated that in addition to the last day counted, 14,554 Covid-19 tests were performed.
The percentage of positive cases at the state level remains at 12.6%.
Counties bordering Mexico have documented 846 deaths related to Covid-19. In Yuma, there are 274; in Pima 469; in Santa Cruz 51 and 52 in Cochise.
In Maricopa County, where the capital Phoenix is located, 2,204 deaths has been documented.
As for infections, Yuma County has documented 11,314; Pima 16,964; Santa Cruz 2,633 and 1,560 in Cochise. The rest are distributed in the other counties. In Maricopa alone, there are 123,082 people who have tested positive for Covid-19.
