Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – This Wednesday, Arizona’s health authorities report 2,339 new people infected of Covid-19, as well as the death of 46 people.

With these cases, the accumulated number of infections in Arizona is 168,273, and the number of deaths is 3,454, according to the daily statistical update from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

To date the number of tests for the detection of Covid-19 in the state during the pandemic amounts to 1,125,705.

In Yuma County 10,657 people have tested positive for Covid-19; Pima 15,601; Santa Cruz 2,543 Cochise 1,442 and Maricopa 113,148.

As for deaths, Yuma registers 230; Pima 431; Santa Cruz 48; Cochise 44 and Maricopa 1,915. The rest of the cases and fatalities are in the other counties of a total of 15 that Arizona address.
