Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – Today, the Arizona Department of Health Services reports minus 1 Covid-19 related death to reflect a duplicated fatality that was reported on Sunday.
To date, the accumulated number of fatalities has reached 3,304 cases, while the number of cases that have tested positive for the virus during the pandemic reached 163,827, adding up to 1,813 new infections confirmed this Monday.
The rate of cases at the state level for every 100,000 inhabitants amounted to 2,278.0 and the mortality rate to 45.96. To date, 1,099,682 Covid-19 detection tests have been applied.
The counties bordering Sonora register as follows: 10,434 cases in Yuma; 15,109 in Pima; 2,517 in Santa Cruz and 1,399 in Cochise. Maricopa reached 109,988.
