Covid 19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – Today the Arizona Department of Health Services confirmed 89 deaths and 2,335 people infected with Covid-19.

According to the daily update, the accumulated number of deaths in Arizona related to the virus is 3,363 and the number of infections is 152,944.

10,799 Covid-19 tests were applied this Thursday, bringing the cumulative to 1,337,924.

To date, Santa Cruz County has had 2,242 people that tested positive for Covid-19; Yuma 9,794; Pima 14,143; Cochise 1,311 and Maricopa 102,247.

Of the deceased, 57% are male and 43% female and 73% of deaths have occurred in people aged 65 years and older.
