Covid-19 Update – Arizona
TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – This Saturday, Arizona health authorities confirmed the deaths of 147 people from causes related to Covid-19, one of the highest recorded during the pandemic.
The cumulative number of fatalities in Arizona amounted to 2,730, of whom 1,992 are people age 65 and older; 384 are between 55 and 64 years old; 183 are between 45 and 54 years old and in 161 of the cases the age ranges between 20 and 44 years old.
In the age range of less than 20 years there have been 10 deaths.
In Santa Cruz County, 37 people have lost their lives; in Yuma 180; in Pima 384 and in Cochise 29; while in Maricopa they add to date 1,444.
This Saturday, 2,742 people infected with Covid-19 were also confirmed; the accumulated during the pandemic reaching a total of 141,265 in the state of Arizona.
