Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Arizona reported 4,221 new infections and 44 fatalities on Friday morning.

The cumulative cases in the state reached 116,892 and the death toll reached 2,082, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Yuma has documented 7,994 Covid-19 positive cases; Pima 11,172; Santa Cruz 2,133 and Cochise 980.

Coconino has 2,379, Navajo has 4,225 and Apache has 2,534, while Maricopa documents 76,328.

The rate of cases per 100,000 inhabitants has doubled in a few weeks, documenting 1,626 until this day; while the fatality rate grew to 28.96.
