Covid-19 Update – Arizona

Phoenix, Arizona, USA – 

Covid-19 death toll in Arizona is up to 115 and 3,353 people infected.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, until Saturday the county with the highest mortality rate is Maricopa with 48 deaths, while Pima has 29.

In other counties bordering Sonora, Mexico, such as Santa Cruz, Cochise and Yuma, there are no deaths reported.

Another of the counties with a significant number of deaths is Coconino, which totals 19.

Most of the cases have been detected in residents of the cities with the highest populations such as Phoenix and Tucson.

The 63% of deaths are male and 37% female.  Out of the 115 Covid-19 fatalities 78 were in people with an age of 65 years or older.
