Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – 3,109 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this Saturday by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

At the same time, 26 deaths related to the virus are confirmed.

The accumulated number of infections in the state of Arizona reached 49,798, while the number of deaths reached 1,338.

In the last hours, in addition to the cities of Nogales, Tucson, Bisbee, and Phoenix, the County of Santa Cruz, Pima, and even Sahuarita, among others, have added to the mandatory use of facemask in public places or places where the social distancing is not possible.

In Santa Cruz the cumulative of infected people is 1,347; in Pima 5,313; in Yuma 4,074; in Maricopa 28,303 and in Cochise 362.

To date the number of tests applied in the state of Arizona is 549,274.
