Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – On Friday, the Arizona Department of Health Services confirmed 3,246 new infections and 41 new Covid-19 related deaths on its daily update.
The accumulated number of deaths during the pandemic reached 1,312 and the people who have tested positive for the virus reached 46,689.
The number of Coronavirus screening tests for the entire state of Arizona is 532,697, of which 15,331 were applied in the last 24 hours.
Although Maricopa County has the highest number of Covid-19 positive cases, the highest Covid-19 positive case rates per 100,000 inhabitants, are the counties of Navajo, Apache, and Santa Cruz.
Maricopa has 25,999 infected people; Pima 5,019; Santa Cruz 1,293 and Yuma 3,857, while Cochise has 332.
