Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – On Wednesday, 1,827 new Covid-19 infections were registered in Arizona and 20 new deaths related to the virus.
With these cases, the cumulative of people infected with Coronavirus in Arizona during the pandemic reached 40,924, while the death toll reached 1,239.
According to data by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), 501,963 Covid-19 screening tests have already been applied to date.
To date, 1,165 infections have been documented in Santa Cruz County; 4,385 in Pima and 22,272 in Maricopa.
There are 3,454 cases in Yuma County and 249 have been documented in Cochise.
In Santa Cruz County, where the city of Nogales is located, 13 deaths have been recorded, in Pima 229 and 579 in Maricopa.
