Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – On Monday the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services confirmed 789 new infections by Covid-19 and 3 new deaths.

The cumulative of cases in Arizona reached 27,678 and 1,047 deaths.

To date, 402,660 tests have been carried out to detect Covid-19, of which 6.2% have been positive.

In Santa Cruz County there are 615 positive cases for the virus and 3 deaths; in Pima there are 205 deaths and 3,154 infections. In Mariposa, there are 14,003 infected people and 491 deaths.

In Cochise County, there are 4 deaths and 149 people infected, and Yuma has registered 2,257 infections and 26 deaths.

The mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 14.56 and the rate of cases per 100,000 inhabitants is 385.
