Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Arizona is close to reaching 1,000 deaths related to Covid-19.

To date the Arizona State Department of Health and Social Services reported a total of 996 deaths and 22,753 infected people.

In this Thursday’s update, 530 new infected people and 15 deaths were confirmed.

The number of tests carried out reached 350,902.

The county that has documented the most deaths is Maricopa with 471, following Pima with 202 deaths.

Counties like Mohave, Coconino, Navajo and Apache add 49, 85, 67 and 45 deaths, respectively.

In Yuma 20 deaths have been documented and in Cochise 5; while in Santa Cruz County, according to the Department of Health, it was still at zero.
