Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Arizona exceeded 20,000 cases of people infected with Covid-19 on Monday.

The Department of Health and Social Services reported 187 new confirmed cases, as well as eleven deaths, in addition to 3,353 screening tests.

With this update, the cumulative of infections in the state reached 20,023, and the number of deaths reached 917.

The case rate per hundred thousand inhabitants is 279.9 and the mortality rate is 12.76, which means that the percentage of positive tests is 5.6 of the 321,926 tests carried out to date.

The county with the most cases is Maricopa with 9,937. In Pima there are 2,382 cases and in Cochise 76 infections.

In Santa Cruz County there are 330 cases, while in Yuma 1,132.
