Covid-19 Update Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – One new death and 222 new Covid-19 infections were confirmed this Tuesday by the Arizona health authorities.

According to the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services, The accumulated number of cases reached 16,783 infected people and a total of 807 deaths.

In Arizona, 16,783 residents have been infected with Covid-19, and 1,988 have been hospitalized, which is 12%.

In Santa Cruz County, which houses the city of Nogales, there have been 3 hospitalizations and a total of 187 infected people.

In Cochise there have been nine hospitalizations out of 64 residents infected with Coronavirus.

In Pima, where Tucson is located, data shows 397 hospitalizations out of 2,097 people that have tested positive for Covid-19. In Maricopa there have been 1,101 hospitalizations out of 8,448 cases.
