Covid-19 Update Arizona
TUCSON, ARIZONA, USA – On Friday, Arizona health authorities confirmed 12 new deaths and 293 new cases of Covid-19.
With these new cases, the death toll reached 775 and the number of infections reached 15,608 according to the database of the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services.
The case rate per 100,000 inhabitants reached 217.1, while the mortality rate for the same volume of inhabitants stood at 10.78.
There were 245,486 tests applied and the percentage of positive cases is 5.7%.
The county with the most infected cases is Maricopa with 7,950.
Pima County registers 1,974; Navajo 1,470; Apache 1,139 and Coconino 979.
In Santa Cruz County there are 131; in Cochise 56 and Yuma 492.
The others cases are in the rest of the counties.
