Covid-19 Update – Arizona
ARIZONA, USA – After gradually regaining economic vitality and ending the “stay at home” order in recent days, the Covid-19 pandemic in Arizona this Tuesday caused 18 new deaths and 400 new infections.
According to the Department of Health and Social Services, the cumulative of infections is 14,566, while the number of deaths reached 704.
The vast majority of infections have been registered in Maricopa County with a total of 7,482.
In Pima County there is a recorded total of 1,888 infections, followed by Navajo County with 1,320, Apache County with a 1,023, and Coconino County with 943.
In the border county of Santa Cruz there are 97 confirmed cases, in Douglas there are 46, and in Yuma 433. The rest of the cases are distributed in the other seven counties.
To date, 220,612 Covid-19 detection tests have been applied, where the percentage of positive records is 5.9%.
