Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Today, the first day after the conclusion of the executive order Stay at Home, 28 new deaths and 495 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities.
The cumulative number of people infected with Coronavirus in Arizona is 13,631 and the number of deaths is 679.
The Arizona Department of Health and Social Services informed that 194,504 Covid-19 detection tests have been applied to date.
The mortality rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 9.44 and the case rate per 100,000 inhabitants amounts to 189.6.
Maricopa County records 319 deaths through Saturday, Pima 157, Cochise 3, and Yuma 4.
The numbers for infections are in Maricopa County 7,096, Pima County has 1,781, and in Navajo 1,238. The rest of the registered infections are in the other counties like Santa Cruz with 72 cases, Cochise with 46, and Yuma with 328.
