Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – On the same day of partial business openings starting, Arizona documented 67 new deaths and 581 new infections of Covid-19, the highest on a single day.
According to the Department of Health and Social Services, the cumulative cases now reach 10,226 infections and 517 deaths.
To date, the total number of Covid-19 tests that have been applied amount to 119,907, of which 7.4% have tested positive for Coronavirus 2019.
Maricopa County reached 5,525 infections and Pima 1,520. While Santa Cruz and Cochise document 38 and 41 cases, respectively.
Of the 517 deaths, 410 have occurred in people aged 65 and older; 61 in the age range of 55 to 64 years and 27 of the 45 to 54 years range. 19 deaths have occurred in people aged 20 to 44 years.
