Covid-19 Update Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – This Wednesday in Arizona, 31 new deaths related to Covid-19 were reported and 402 new infections were detected.
According to data from the Arizona Department of Health and Social Services, the cumulative number of cases is 9707 and the death toll is 426.
Two of the four counties in Arizona that share a border with Sonora have registered deaths.
Pima County has registered 116 deaths and Yuma 3. The counties that have not documented any deaths related to Covid-19 are Santa Cruz and Cochise. 55% of deaths have been in males.
To date, Maricopa County has registered 5,138 cases of Covid-19 while Pima County has 1,425.
Santa Cruz county has 37 confirmed cases and Cochise has 40.
As of today, 103,597 tests have been conducted, of which 7.7% are positive for coronavirus.
