Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – A total of 276 Covid-19 infections and 17 deaths, were documented in the last 24 hours in the state of Arizona, where the cumulative of infected patients is 6,445 and the death toll is 266.
According to the database of the Arizona Department of Public Health Services, to date, a total of 60,714 tests have been applied to detect the new Coronavirus.
Up until Friday, Mariposa County has documented 3,116 cases, while Pima County has 1,560 cases.
Santa Cruz County in Arizona reached 30 infected patients and Douglas County maintains a cumulative of 34 infected people. Yuma has registered 42 infections to date.
Six out of every ten deaths are male; and of the 266 victims of the pandemic, 200 were in the age group 65 years or older.
In the group of adults aged 55 to 64 years 39 deaths have been documented, and in those aged 45 to 54 years 18 deaths. In people aged 20 to 44 years 9 deaths have been documented.
