Covid-19 Update – Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – To date, Pima County exceeded over 1,000 infected people by Covid-19 with 1,226. Through Arizona state there are 5,769 positive cases and 249 deaths.
Overnight, the volume of new infections reported in Arizona was 310, while the number of deaths reached 20.
According to the Department of Public Health Services database: 2,996 tests for Covid-19 detection were reported during Wednesday while the percentage of positive results for Covid-19 was 9.
The mortality rate per 100,000 people is 3.46 and the positive case rate per 100,000 reached 80.
Of the 249 deaths, Pima County documented 115 to this day, while Pima County reached 70 cases. Six out of every ten registered deaths are men.
187 deaths have occurred in people 65 years of age or older; 38 in patients aged 55 to 64 years; 17 in the range of 45 to 54 years and 7 in the range of 20 to 44 years.
