Covid-19 Update – Arizona

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US.- On Tuesday morning, Arizona surpassed two hundred deaths derived from health complications by Covid-19.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Health Services database, there were 208 Coronavirus-related deaths, as well as 5,251 people infected cases.

In a single day, 187 new infections and 21 deaths were reported, as well as the application of 652 tests.

In Santa Cruz County there are 23 people infected by Covid. To date, Cochise County registered a cumulative of 29.

In Pima County there have been 963 contagions, while in Maricopa there are 2,738 people infected. The rest of the contagions are distributed in the other eleven counties.

The death rate for every 100,000 population in the state of Arizona is 2.89, while the rate of infections is 73. The rate of positive tests is 8%.
