Covid-19 Update
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – On Thursday, health authorities in Arizona confirmed another day with more than 2,500 people infected of Covid-19.
In today’s daily morning update, the Arizona Department of Health Services confirmed 2,519 new cases of Coronavirus and 32 deaths.
Data shows that 15,703 Covid-19 tests were applied, which brings the cumulative of Coronavirus detection tests in Arizona to 517,666.
Death toll for Covid-19 is at 1,271 and cumulative for infections is 43,443.
The case rate per 100,000 inhabitants grew to 604.3, while the mortality rate to 17.68. The number of positive results for applied tests is 7.5%.
Maricopa County has a cumulative of 23,880; Pima 4,682; Santa Cruz 1,210 and Cochise 267. Yuma reached 3,635 cases.
