Covid-19 Arizona Update

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – This Saturday, Arizona surpasses 70,000 positive cases of Covid-19, and documents a cumulative of 1,579 deaths.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, on Saturday it recorded 3,591 new people infected with the virus. Bringing the cumulative to 70,051 in Arizona.

Today, 44 deaths were confirmed, taking the death toll to 1,579.

Santa Cruz has registered 1,654 people who have tested positive for Covid-19; Pima 7,086; Yuma 5,607; Maricopa 42,374 and Cochise 538.

Northern counties such as Coconino, Navajo, and Apache register 1,735, 3,397, and 2,250 cases, respectively.
