Covid-19: 261 New Cases and 6 New Deaths in Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA – Arizona health authorities reported Monday morning, six new deaths, and 261 new cases of Covid-19 in the state.
According to the Department of Health and Social Services, the number of deaths rose to 542 and infection cases to 11,380.
Breakdown
In the County of Santa Cruz County 45 patients have been infected with Covid-19 and in Cochise 42.
In Pima County, the number of infections is 1602 while in Maricopa it is 5988. The cumulative of Covid-19 tests amount to 150,241 in the state.
Of the 542 recorded deaths, 432 occurred in people over 65 years of age; 62 in people between 55-64 years of age; 28 in people between 45-54 years of age and 19 in people between 20-44 years of age. 54% of the deaths occurred in men.
