Couple Caught Trying To Introduce Narcotics Into The USA

NOGALES, ARIZONA, USA – A couple of U.S. citizens were caught by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers trying to introduce narcotics to the USA through one of the Nogales Port of Entry.

According to CBP, a 27-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman tried to cross the border by car, hiding 64 pounds of methamphetamine.

The case occurred in Nogales when a K9 alerted officers about the drugs.

Upon reviewing the sedan-type car, officers located several packages containing the narcotic in the passenger door area and on the side panels.

Both of the suspects, were detained.
