City Facilities Reopening Rescheduled for June 22

TUCSON, ARIZONA, US – The City of Tucson announced that the reopening of city facilities like recreation parks will be delayed until June 22 at 8:00 a.m.

In a statement, the city of Tucson reported that recent statistics from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Pima County Health Department (PCHD) show that COVID-19 cases are on the rise in the State of Arizona and Pima County.

The delay also means that the community beautification event Team Up to Clean Up originally scheduled for this week is now rescheduled for June 24-27.

According to ADHS, Pima County has a record of 3,154 people infected with Covid-19 and a total of 205 deaths.
