CBP Stops Five Attempts of Drug Smuggling

NOGALES, ARIZONA, USA – Custom and Border Protection officers stopped five attempts of drug smuggling into the United States at the Nogales Port of Entry.

In separate incidents, they seized 0.2 pounds of fentanyl pills, 2.15 pounds of methamphetamine, 0.5 pounds of fentanyl pills, 0.06 pounds of fentanyl, 0.05 pounds of methamphetamines, and 0.6 pounds of fentanyl pills.

The seizures occurred in the Nogales Port of Entry.

To this day, CBP and the governments of Mexico, Canada and USA, maintain active restrictions of non-essential travel.

Only USA residents and citizens can cross the border into the USA and those travelers with reasons considered essential like work, education, medical treatments, diplomatic, military operations, and their families among others.
