Car Broke Down, Driver Was Assaulted and Robbed

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – A driver who was trying to repair his car on the side of the road, was assaulted and robbed by four individuals.

The case occurred on Thursday morning when local police officers were dispatched to a street located between the Social Security hospital and the Fiscal Corridor.

At the scene, they found 26-year-old Jesus N, who told the officers that moments before he was aboard his car, a 2000 Ford Focus when the car broke down.

He parked the car and start to check the engine when a white Chrysler, 300 approached and four people got out of the car.

The men were armed and threatened him, taking from the victim 50 dollars and the car.

Police provided assistance and guidance to file an official complaint.
