Border Wait Times Return to Normality

NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO – On Wednesday, the border crossing conditions in the Nogales border returned to normal after the traffic chaos caused by travelers passing through Nogales’ Ports of Entry after Memorial Day weekend.

According to travelers, the wait time was about four hours through the morning. Officially the CBP website portal indicated that the wait time to cross the border was one and a half hours.

At Dennis DeConcini Port, there were three open lanes to cross the border: Sentri, Ready, and one for the general public.

At Mariposa, the CBP Border Wait Times website did not show data on the webpage, but the lines were shorter than Monday through Wednesday.

The flow of travelers entering Mexico through the north border in Sonora also decreased as of Wednesday.
