Border Crossing Wait Times Decrease

NOGALES, SONORA.- Border Crossing from Mexico into the United States 

continue at the Nogales border with waiting times ranging from 30 to 45 minutes during the day.

Commuters were mostly residents and citizens of the United States, headed Thursday through the Dennis DeConcini border crossing lines through one of the three open lanes, one of them the Sentri line.

In this port at one in the afternoon the wait time was 45 minutes to cross the border but at three in the afternoon the time had dropped to 20 minutes.

At Mariposa Gate, during most of the morning the wait time was mostly 15 minutes, but starting at three in the afternoon the wait time was almost null.

Some travelers reported that they traveled into Mexico to buy groceries.
