Body Found in Magdalena with Several Gunshot Wounds

MAGDALENA, SONORA, MX – The body of a male person with several gunshot wounds, was located Monday morning on the highway from Magdalena to Cucurpe, Sonora, near the Ejido El Recodo.

The identity has not been officially established but a few kilometers from the scene a black Chevrolet Tahoe 2010 was found with several gunshot impacts and shattered tires.

The finding was at 8:00 am when, according to the official police reports, at Kilometer 6, on the Magdalena-Cucurpe highway, the authorities found the body.

The victim was wearing denim shorts, a blue-and-white striped shirt and beige tactical boots.

Authorities continue with the investigation.
