Body Carriers Caught at the Nogales Border Ports of Entry
ARIZONA, USA– Five “body carriers’’, also known as “mules”, were caught during the weekend after trying to cross the border with drug shipments on their bodies through the border ports of entry.
According to the Department of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), they were trying to introduce fentanyl into the United States.
In total, among the five arrests made, authorities seized 1.5 pounds (680 grams) of fentanyl.
The substances were caught thanks to the operation of K-9 teams.
