Beer Sale Reactivated in Sonora

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – As of Saturday, the sale of beer is reactivated in Sonora,  and long lines of people outside stores wait to purchase the product.

In the town of Nogales a few establishments that received the merchandise early, experienced lines of people outside waiting to buy beer.

In Sonora since March 28, non-essential establishments such as beer shops and liquor stores were ordered to close, though beer continued to be sold in supermarkets and self-service stores.

During this period beer was in short supply, until this weekend when the distribution was reactivated.
