Bear Sighting In Residential Area
NOGALES, ARIZONA, US – A bear was caught on video by residents of the Chulavista Residential Neighborhood in Nogales, Arizona.
Staff from the Sheriff’s Office in Santa Cruz County alerted the community to be vigilant when circulating in the area and to report them in case of sightings.
The Chulavista neighborhood is located about 7 miles North of the border wall with Mexico, east of Interstate 19.
On other occasions these animals have been surprised frequenting neighborhoods on the outside of Nogales but mainly in residential areas of Rio Rico.
Authorities reiterated to the community to report these sightings and to exercise caution when moving around these areas.
