PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US.- The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is looking to hire a passionate individual who’s dedicated to making a difference in public health.
In an announcement The Food Safety and Environmental Services Program Manager will oversee the ADHS Public Health Sanitarians, provide consultative services to county health departments and represent the interests of the state on a regional and national scale.
The Food Safety and Environmental Services (FSES) Program Manager duties are multifaceted and provide a great opportunity to delve into various program areas.
The FSES team works to provide quality service and protect public health through food safety inspections; developing retail standards; running the Arizona Cottage Food Program and conducting contracted FDA inspections.
Also creating a manufactured food program; chairing the Arizona Sanitarians Council; consulting on best practices via the School and Community Garden Program.
And working cooperatively with the Office of Infectious Diseases; conducting standardization exercises; and more.
