According to information by the Arizona Department of Health Services, the reinforcement is given through a partnership with the organization Vizient Inc.

Hospitals needing critical area staff support can receive these resources free of charge for up to six weeks as their internal surge plans improve to fill staffing shortages.

They have also expressed the ability to activate additional beds.

Over the past month, nearly 100 staff members of the National Disaster Medical System have been sent to the Arizona government.
