A Woman is Kidnapped From Her Own Home

AGUA PRIETA, SONORA, MX – Miguel Rodrigo N is accused of aggravated sexual abuse and kidnap of a woman in Agua Prieta, Sonora.

According to the Attorney General of Justice in Sonora, it was around 5:30 on Wednesday when Miguel Rodrigo allegedly broke into the home of the victim. Reports say he had his face covered with a mask and threatened the victim with a knife and an activated blowtorch.

The accused allegedly placed the knife on the victim’s neck overpowering her. He then started to grope the victim while she was intimidated with the knife.

Trying to kidnap the woman, he pulled the victim from her home by verbally assaulting her and threatening her. The aggressor tried to flee taking the victim with him in a vehicle.

Thanks to the intervention of the local police, the suspect was arrested and other crimes were prevented.

Miguel Rodrigo N was put at the disposal of the First Specialized Unit in the Accusatory and Oral Criminal Justice System of Agua Prieta for the legal process.
