A Cargo of 10,000 Bullets Seized by SEDENA

NOGALES, SONORA, MX – Federal Mexican authorities seized 10,000 gunfire cartridges last Tuesday, as customs agents were conducting an inspection on vehicles in southbound lanes.

The Mexican Army (SEDENA) informed that this occurred last Monday when army members were inspecting vehicles traveling southbound in the Recinto Fiscal facilities in Nogales.

In a gray Nissan van driven by a male individual boxes were found containing 10,000 bullets.

The driver was arrested while both the merchandise and the car were turned in to the Federal Attorney’s Office.
