6 Immigrants Rescued In The Last Week
YUMA, ARIZONA, US – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents working with an Arizona Army National Guard helicopter team, rescued six immigrants over the last week.
One of them had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital, and two required emergency medical attention confirmed in a press release the Custom and Border Protection (CBP).
The first of two incidents occurred West of Arizona, on Welton Station, where a migrant called 911 requesting help.
An Arizona Army National Guard air team immediately responded to a request for assistance from Border Patrol agents.
Two individuals were located hours later and two more people were located near that area.
On a different day, officers observed a fire signal. When they went to check they found two more people, who required emergency medical attention and fluids due to their dehydration.
