42 Kilos of Marijuana Found Abandoned

NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO – In a coordinated operation of the Public Safety State Police (PESP) and the Mexican Army in Nogales, the authorities discovered packages containing marijuana just outside of Nogales.

The finding was registered at noon on Wednesday, June 10, when PESP and Mexican Army personnel were conducting surveillance tours along the unnamed dirt roads in the city.

Along the way, they saw that there were 2 packages and 3 black bags apparently abandoned, which contained marijuana with an estimated weight of 42 kilograms.
